Industrial ovens are an example of a special application of
radiant heating. Heat developed by the radiating tubes warms the objects inside the oven. By means of conduction, these objects cause water molecules to evaporate from their surface. Sometimes it is sufficient to heat an object at a particular temperature - in any case, a thermostat controls the heating process. The radiating ovens built by
FRACCARO do not use ventilated air to ensure savings in energy costs. This is clearly shown by the fact that it is sufficient to heat the surface and not the whole object.
Radiating oven systems have been successfully created for the purpose of drying marble, for providing high thermal gradients to metal pieces in mechanical processing industries, and for surface heating of freshly painted materials. Each system is designed according to the heating requirements needed, and it is built with modules of variable thermal power from 10 kW to 100
kW.
Heating by incandescent heaters is the best technique for large and high rooms. The heater consists of a Venturi pipe and a gas injector. Gas injection speed causes a drop in pressure so that the quantity of air required for correct burning is drawn in. The air-gas mixture is delivered to the mixing chamber and is spread along the entire surface of the heat exchanger. The latter consists of a set of ceramic plates, which, warmed to a high temperature, overheat and radiate the surface areas below. The heater is equipped with a mirror reflector for directing radiation.

The GIRAD radiating belt is a suspended
radiation-heating unit suitable for medium to large areas. A system with GIRAD appliances consists of a heat production unit fuelled by gas (methane or LPG) and a Radiating Belt, i.e. a tube providing a closed circuit at lower than environmental pressure (as required by Italian law). The GIRAD radiating belt is able to adjust its power and shape according to the features of every single building.The maximum temperature of the Radiating Belt is controlled by an adjustable thermostat and can be set up in a range of 100 to 300°C (212 to 572°F) according to the requirements. A fan in the final section of the circuit creates low pressure inside the circuit. The
GIRAD system adapts its shape and power to the characteristics of the building. After installation, a convector fluid is circulated at high speed inside the Radiating Belt. The fluid consists of a mixture of hot air and burned gas. When the set temperature is reached, the burner is cut out, while the combustion unit fan continues to operate until the radiating circuit reaches the minimum set temperature. The GIRAD system is designed to have the heat production unit and burner located outside the building. The gas supply line area is also located outside.

GIRAD at the maximum level regarding safety and efficiency. This system is protected by the
International Patent "Fraccaro" nr. 94115945.1. The Girad belt is designed and produced with specific engineering
characteristics:
Design: inspired by the most modern and efficient sheet steel machining to provide adequate accommodation for the
appliance.
Flexibility: all the burners have a 2- or 3- stage
power-module.
Material: materials used are suitable to resist at very low external temperatures and in a very wide range of weather
conditions.

ENERGOSTRIP heating is based on the same principle: it emits natural and comfortable heat without any cold area or draught.
ENERGOSTRIP is an electricity-fed panel and it is suitable for ceilings from 2 to 10 meters (from 6.56 to 32.8 ft) in height, from small bathrooms to wide industrial
sheds. This is a simple system, with low installation costs and maintenance-free. As it is installed just below the
